I spent 3+ hours working on a project in Photoshop! then I rebooted my computer because my RAM was low, and my kid wanted to do homework!
Then, the file was computed! GRRRR!!!!!!!!
I'm sooooooooo mad!!!!!!!

I prescribe a RAM Stick or Three, depending on how many your machine can accommodate. Photoshop, like any graphics program, sucks up memory like it's out of style, no matter how your computer is arrayed.
The second solution is to save back-up files, or save the file under a different name on occasion. At least then you won't lose all of the progress you would lose if a single version of the file containing your project becomes corrupted.
The third option is to kill your kid.
That last one is a joke. Between the first and last, the middle option is a practice you should adopt, considering how serious you are with your art. The first option, of course, is whenever you have some cash to blow. You certainly can't blow anymore time, since time is also cash, from a certain point of view.
In any case, I have checked out your work. It is both heavily detailed and impossible to stop gawking at... to pick up all the details, of course. One of these days, I'll figure out an art program, but in the meantime, I'll stick with inks. Being a Bay-Statesman, it might be fun to happen upon one another at a convention, if either of us get any free time. In any case, keep up the good work and don't let cretins like thespammer let you down.

I have no Idea about photoshop though, how does a file get computed? I don't even know what that means. Maybe you meant corrupted, lol, sorry to hear that happened either way though, Hopefully you got more ram for X-Mas.
